Perfect fit to your individual needs
Your truss design and production schedule set the parameters of the layout and flow of the WOOD-Ranger.
Your inventory is managed by CAMBIUM®, WOOD-Ranger and TURBO-Drive. The size of your inventory, lengths and grades are optimized and orchestrated by this trio. The WOOD-Ranger uses its automated stacking to deliver the right lumber at the right time to the saw and all the way to the build table without anybody touching a single piece of wood.
Hundegger POWER-Sort
De-stacking, sorting and perfect delivery
The POWER-Sort modules improve efficiency while decreasing manpower, minimizing required floor space and eliminating mistakes.
The first step to get the parts in the right sequence is the automated de-stacking. The next steps are totally flexible according to your production process and your facility. Thanks to the modular setup the footprint and flow of parts are adapted to your specific requirements. Sorting, buffering, ejecting and delivery are all done automatically without any extra handling.
The systems monitors each individual part at any moment in real-time. One POWER-Sort delivers to several building stations. The last steps to your table are either done via conveyor or cart. TRUSSLinc®’s innovative technology results in an increase in accuracy and a reduction in errors by delivering the exact parts to the exact location at the exact time.
Hundegger Tactical
Sorting and buffering of components for assembly
The TACTical system automatically collects and stores sorted parts ready for assembly. Hundegger‘s CAMBIUM® constantly manages the processed components and the cart delivery. TACTical can be optimized to fit any facility, any strategy and any production requirement. TACTical utilizes Hundegger‘s innovative equipment designed for each process from batching to the build tables.
Using unique buffering technology balances output and provides for consistent reliable production. Workflow is organized and conducted systematically, in a tactical sequence, under tight digital supervision. Every solution is designed to increase quality and productivity with a quick return on investment.
Hundegger TURBO-Drive
Up to 4 boards at one time
The TURBO-Drive is specifically designed to be Hundegger’s fastest saw with the smallest footprint. The cornerstone of the TRUSSLinc® system is the TURBO-Drive, either in single or twin saw arrangement.
The linear CNC saw TURBO-Drive runs fully automated and performs with most modern technology. No matter of single board operation or 4 boards high the TURBO-Drive processes the lumber with highest precision and accuracy. Thanks to “Cut-in-Cut” optimization the utilization of lumber is at its highest level. All the operation is done simply with a few touches on the Touch-Panel and simultaneously monitored and reported. By accurate “predictive“ scheduling it‘s possible changing from a “push to pull” manufacturing strategy.
Optionally mounted double bevel mill and Ink Jet labelling are available to increase the processing, providing up to 3.000 board feet in a shift-hour for a constant output of trusses!
CAMBIUM® Component Manager
Manage, monitor and pull production
CAMBIUM® is Hundegger‘s powerful software platform and common operating system for all Hundegger machines.
CAMBIUM® is a flexible machine control system that can be customized to look and function as needed. The CAMBIUM® COMPONENT MANAGER module allows managers to synchronize workforce, machines, data and software systems to monitor and modify component manufacturing on the fly in real-time. The CAMBIUM® COMPONENT MANAGER module automatically synchronizes data for one or multiple TRUSSLinc®-lines. Once your company’s optimization and manufacturing strategies are entered into the CAMBIUM® COMPONTENT MANAGER, production is pulled from the available manpower, machine and lumber resources to insure completion as promised.
After processing, the CAMBIUM® COMPONENT MANAGER synchronizes incoming and outgoing data and sorts and delivers processed components to the assigned location for manual or robotic assembly.
The targeted delivery time of your trusses sets the goal. Sorting and scheduling are done automatically.
