Options

Combi-support for 3-axis units

Our support system provides space for up to three 3-axis systems – for maximum flexibility and efficiency in production. For high volume and flexible production these units can be added to extend your machining options, improve quality and simultaneously optimize your production times.

3-axis milling and drilling unit  

powerful vertical milling unit can be equipped with various mills for openings, cutouts, drill holes, pockets and contours. The rotational speed of the motor can be continuously adjusted for optimal processing. Thanks to the integrated HSK-E 80 change system, tools can be changed manually at any time.

Drilling unit

The drilling unit offers power of 3 kW and is fitted with a quick-change drill chuck and hardened drill guide. The electrically controlled Z axis permits exact positioning, including for blind bores.

Deep hole drilling device

The deep drilling device can be used to produce horizontal drill holes on all four sides of the part. The angle of entry for the deep drill holes can be up to ± 30°, if the necessary pre-machining has been carried out, for example using an end mill.

Pick-up slots

In addition to the basic provisioning of tools, the PBA-X can be equipped with up to three further large-tool slots. These provide space for a circular saw blade with a maximum diameter of 1,100 mm, an angled milling head with a 90° inclination and a chainsaw bar with a maximum effective length of 600 mm.

Chainsaw interchangeable for 5-axis unit

The chainsaw bar's special geometry allows precise production of corners without a radius, ideal for window and door openings. The chain saw permits a maximum slot depth of 600 mm and a slot width of up to 14 mm, depending on the selected chain saw and bar.

Angle drilling/milling head for 5-axis unit

For automatic changing from the pick-up position into the 5-axis unit.    

Short finger cutters, twist drills or similar tools can be installed via the ER 40 collet chuck.

Laser for part referencing

A referencing unit with laser cross hairs and camera is used to manually measure the parts. Measuring points can therefore be easily defined in CAMBIUM® and positioned to.

CAMBIUM® multi-panel scanner

The multi-panel scanner detects all parts when it passes over the processing table. CAMBIUM® automatically calculates the nestings from the blank contours without the need for additional measuring or setup.

TORNADO part cleaning system – moving or stationary

The TORNADO cleaning system, which can travel on the gantry or be installed as a stationary unit at the outfeed, effectively removes chips and dust from your parts. Even the deepest pockets and machined areas are thoroughly cleaned by the three-way system to ensure maximum cleanliness and quality in production.

Flap disposal

The wood chips that accumulate under the processing tables during production are ejected in the longitudinal direction by the flap disposal system.

Lipped-pipe channel

With the aid of the airborne dust extraction system connected to the lipped pipe, dust is caught and reliably suctioned away directly where it originates.
